Dating.

So, people keep asking me about when I'm going to start dating.  I think I have started dating - with hanging out with the Marine.  LOL  (Oh, by the way - no military ball...I didn't go.)  I see that little fling coming to an end though.  Because I was the one doing all of the driving to go visit.  ...and I drive a gas hog of a vehicle.  I just didn't see any fairness in that - so that is dying off slowly but surely.

I'll be honest - I am not one to go hang out at a bar or club.  So I'm not meeting guys (but really, will I meet the guy I want to date at a bar or club?) left and right.  Yes I have my clients that I cut their hair that are cute and seem interested - but only one guy has asked me out.  ...he was 46 years old.  LOL!  I laughed and said no.   

I have a guy that I met in Hawaii when I had to pick Lucy up from the police department who I talk to on the regular.  ...and he is stationed state side now.  Will that work though?  The distance between us is 8 hours.  He told me he would be more than happy to drive here and visit.  That he would make that drive just to hang out with my awesomeness once again.  lol  He is cool, cute and super sweet - but in reality...will a long distance relationship work?  It is nice to know that he would be willing to drive here a few times a month to come hang out with me and the pup dogs though.  He is one guy that I wish lived closer.

So yeah, this dating thing is a little difficult.  lol  One of my good friends actually said she was going to host a "mixer" for me.  lol  The thought was sweet - and it would be nice to go to her house and hang out with other people.  Make a few friends atleast.  Idk - to be honest I am happy where I am in life.  I do miss the companionship of a boyfriend though.  It will happen when it will happen.  But as of now - not really dating but I'm happy.  :)  I have my friends, job and pups to keep me busy.  :)
