Its a little after 12am - and I'm not sleepy just yet. So I decided to do a lil bloggy poo. I move on Monday - Go Team! I went shopping for a formal dress - and got one. You are probably asking "Yo Apes - why the formal dress?" ....well, lemme tell ya. Remember the guy that I said I may be blogging about from time to time? Well - I may have failed to mention he is a Marine. ...and I maaaaaay have also failed to mention that he wants me to go to the Marine's birthday ball with him in November. So yeah - I got a dress for that today.
Also on the new new - I AM growing my hair out. ...some. ...a little bit. ....tiny bit? I've decided I'm not going to cut my hair or color it until its closer to the ball. That way I get can some length on these locks and hopefully do something cute with it. ...I am keeping the blonde hair though. I am a natural dark blonde - so why do I keep coloring my hair dark? It never looks that good on me. lol ....but alas - I am always drawn to the dark side. ...always. My eyebrows are light, I need light hair.
**Just a little tidbit of information when it comes to hair color and eyebrows. You always want your eyebrows to be a shade darker than your hair color. So if you color your hair dark brown and you feel like your eyebrows are "lost" ...its probably because you went too dark with your hair. If you want to color your hair a lot darker than your natural hair color - ask your stylist to tint your eyebrows as well. It really helps you pull off the darker hair shades.
Now if you have naturally dark hair (I'm talking black hair) and want to be a very light sandy blonde to platinum blonde, my suggestion - DON'T DO IT. It is SO damaging to your hair and because the contrast between eyebrows and hair will be too drastic. But - if you insist on going super light with your hair, you can ask your stylist to lighten your brows. Now keep in mind when you are bleaching your brows - you may end up with red/orange to golden eyebrows. Which isn't the best look for most people**
